Okamoto’s has been working with the Anchorage, Eagle River, Palmer, and Wasilla community for over 35 years by working with adults and children to live a better life with martial arts. Okamoto’s uses martial arts to develop key values: discipline, respect, focus, and perseverance to set children up for a successful life and for adults to live a life of balance.
Partners Digital Marketing came in to help with attracting more students using digital platforms like Facebook, Google, and Youtube.
The goal of the campaign was to get more parents to bring their children in to try Karate. With so many after school activities and sports to choose from, many parents weren’t aware how Karate could help their children.
Partners Digital Marketing worked with local videographers and photographers to create a multi-faceted marketing campaign focusing on parents who could bring in their children for Karate. Additionally, adults were targeted to promote the launch of a new self-defense bootcamp class.
A booth in a mall was setup to create brand awareness while allowing people to sign up for the free class using a digital sign-up.
Facebook Advertising was used to reach parents on their computers, smart phones, and tablets to invite them in for a free introductory class.
Youtube video ads were used to raise brand awareness.
Graphic design services were also provided to create flyers and posters to promote a state-wide martial arts tournament.
Results
45,000 impressions where generated between June – September 2018 on Google which led to over 1,500 website visitors.
35,000 saw the advertisement on Facebook between June – September 2018.
Over 250 leads were generated within the span of 3 months.
Design & Branding
Partners Digital Marketing worked with a local Karate school to design a large booth to be used for events.
A booth was created to build brand awareness with a digital lead generation system to allow people to register for a trial class.
